An independent bottling of Longmorn single malt Scotch whisky, aged in a hogshead from 1992 to 2016. Following that maturation, Wemyss Malts bottled it all up and sent it out into the world for us all to enjoy! They gave it the name Persian Anise as a hint to what the flavour profile is... 336 bottles were produced.
Nose: Floral at first, before a selection of freshly chopped herbs develop.
Palate: Runny caramel, brown bread, sponge cake and fresh barley.
Finish: Liquorice root and spicy oak.
