Longmorn 30 Year Old 1985 - Old & Rare Platinum (Hunter Laing)
An independent bottling of single malt from the Longmorn distillery, matured in a refill hogshead for three decades! Yes, this is a 30 year old Longmorn, distilled back in October 1985 (long before their wash stills were converted to steam firing) and bottled by Hunter Laing in May 2016. 157 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Buttery, with zesty fruit and cigar box. A little honey'd malt too.
Palate
Green apples, nutmeg, coffee and tangerine.
Finish
Spicy oak, more cigar box, pineapple and more orange.
