Description
A 1997 vintage Longmorn single malt, drawn from a single cask that matured the whisky until March 2020. Following that rest, this expression was independently bottled for the Mackillop's Choice range at cask strength with a small outturn of only 86 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Mince pies with an extra dusting of cinnamon, aromatic oak, buttered bread and fresh pineapple.
Palate
Orange, green apples and grassy malt, crumbly fudge, more festive spice heat and a pinch of paprika.
Finish
Lingering cedar and custard cream biscuits.
