A Signatory bottling of Longmorn single malt, distilled in September 2002. It was whacked straight into a pair of bourbon barrels, where it spent the next 16 years maturing nicely. After the time had passed, Signatory bottled the whisky at 55.3% ABV for the Cask Strength Collection, in a release of 419 bottles.
Orange marmalade, honey and spicy oak with some grassy aromas.
More honey with a sprinkle of cinnamon, creamy vanilla, and sweet figs.
Rich caramel and sweet malt.

Tried this great whiskey at a pub on the Isle of Skye whilst on vacation. It tastes exactly as the tasting notes claim. Unfortunately I live in the States and cannot have it shipped. Very sad that?
