This single malt from Longmorn was distilled in November 2003 and left to mature in a single refill hogshead for the next 15 years. In February 2019, the Speysider was bottled by Douglas Laing for its Old Particular range. The cask saw an outturn of 348 bottles at 48.4% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Producer

Nose

Detect sweet orange and crunchy ginger biscuits with coconut shavings.

Palate

Super sweet, with fresh citrus, juicy barley, cocoa and ripe tangerine.

Finish

Medium-long developing to green apple skin, more ginger and nutmeg.
