A Claxton's bottling of Longmorn single malt, distilled back in August 2008. It was aged in a single bourbon barrel for 10 years before being bottled with an outturn of 275 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Toasted teacake with salted butter, honey, maybe some raspberry sharpness.
Palate
Lemon peel and blueberry, followed up by vanilla-rich malt and a hint of cumin spiciness.
Finish
Brown sugar and more malt on the finish.
