Lochlea Red Wine Cask (2026 Release)
Lochlea Red Wine Cask is an annual limited-edition release. Each year will bring a different expression of red wine, and for this 2026 edition, the whisky was aged in first-fill bourbon barrels, then finished in Sangiovese casks. The result is a sweet, velvety whisky with hints of honey and gentle spice, finishing with ripe red berry and moreish nutty notes. Lochlea Red Wine Cask 2026 is bottled at 46% ABV with natural colour, and it's non-chill filtered.

Nose
Red berries, baked apples, notes of honey and gentle spice.
Palate
Sweet, creamy with plenty of red berry and nutty notes.
Finish
Gentle spice and pleasant oakiness.
