    Lochlea 7 Year Old

This 7-Year-Old release marks a milestone for Lochlea Distillery, following its highly anticipated 5 and 6 Year Old releases. It's aged in seven hand-selected first-fill bourbon casks from 2018 (#99, #103, #104, #105, #107, #108, and #109) and rested in traditional dunnage warehouses. The distillery’s oldest age statement to date, it's bottled at a punchy 50% ABV, with no added colour and no chill-filtration. Each of the 2,000 bottles worldwide lean fully into Lochlea’s creamy house style, showing how well their spirit takes to high-quality American oak with a little extra time.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Creamy with soft vanilla, gently stewed apples, and custard-like sweetness.

    Palate

Buttery notes and fatty textures deliver tropical fruit, ripe apple, fresh oak, and a creamy, dessert-like quality.

    Finish

Pastry, cereal notes, warming spice and a bright snap of tart green apple.
