Description
Loch Lomond Classic shows why its oddball still setup matters. Multiple spirit styles come together here, some fruity, some lightly smoky, all shaped in American oak to create an approachable, but complex whisky.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Ripe pear drops and banana foam sweets lead the charge, followed by vanilla pod, cereal malt and a faint whiff of soft smoke in the background.
Palate
Orchard fruit, honeyed malt and light oak, the fruitiness carrying through before a subtle savoury note creeps in.
Finish
Tangy peat smoke and drying oak.
