Loch Lomond 21 Year Old 1995 (cask 12097) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
Single grain Scotch whisky from the Loch Lomond distillery, independently bottled by Douglas Laing for the Old Particular range. This tasty treat was aged in a single refill hogshead for 21 years, from November 1995 to October 2017, and was then bottled at 55.3% ABV with an outturn of just 271 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Honeyed florals and milk chocolate. Dried fruits develop later on
Palate
Apricot, menthol, caramelised nuts and a good crack of black pepper.
Finish
Light, floral vanilla and some orange peel freshness.
