Loch Lomond 21 Year Old 1995 (cask 12096) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)

Loch Lomond 21yo #12096 Bottling Note

Tasty Loch Lomond single grain, bottled as part of the Old Particular by Douglas Laing. Distilled back in November 1995, this beauty was set aside to mature for 21 years until October 2017, when it was charged from a single refill hogshead cask (#12096) and bottled with its natural colour at 51.5% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Huge helpings of fresh green apples, milk chocolate and charred oak lathered in honey drizzle, with a pinch of peppery spice.

Palate Buttery sultanas and freshly baked pastries softly fade around strawberry jam, candied ginger.

Finish Vanilla-y oak and caramel-covered shortbread conclude proceedings.
