Douglas Laing
Scotland
An indie bottling of single grain from Loch Lomond, aged in a single cask for 21 years. This was distilled back in November 1995, and it matured in a refill hogshead until August 2017, when Douglas Laing bottled it for the Clan Denny range. 348 bottles were produced.
Fresh doughnuts, vanilla custard and hints of eucalyptus.
Stewed apricot and orange. A touch of cedar brings a vegetal note to the palate.
Pow! A burst of Christmas spice heat on the finish.
