12-year-old peated single malt from the Loch Lomond distillery, Inchmoan is a smoky representation of the distillery's house style. Just another example of how adaptable Loch Lomond's set-up is – they're able to make all sorts of styles of whisky, from single malts of all flavour profiles to tasty blends and grains.
Mint leaf, burnt wood, a hint of medicinal peat.
Spicy as it opens, with plenty of black pepper and cinnamon. Soon enough, layers of toffee develop to balance it out.
Fruitier notes arrive on the finish.

A friend introduced me to Inchmoan 12 Year Old about three months ago and since then i'm hooked on it, its one of the best that i have had so far. its a pity i'm struggling to get it in my area unless i order it from Cape Town.
A very Special Peaty whisky with lots of spicyness ans a strong Chili taste. It has also nice floral notes and a little creamy texture ont the tongue. I like it, my wife not at all.. Not for everyone, try it first !
Definitely my favorite whisky from the 2017 Scotch Advent Calendar. Delicious peat smoke together with the fruity notes of a highland whisky made this number one!
