Inchfad 16 Year Old 2005 (Thompson Bros.)

A fabulous, heavily peated single malt, independently bottled by Thompson Bros. This was distilled at the Loch Lomond Distillery in 2005 under the Inchfad name, which is used for the distillery's heavily peated whiskies.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Big open fire and peaty charcoal, earthy, with drying hay and roasted barley.

Palate

Floral vanilla, ripe green apples, toasted nuts and hefty peat smoke.

Finish

Green olives, briney peat, and salty buttered sourdough.
