Inchfad 15 Year Old 2005 (cask 435) - The Cooper's Choice (The Vintage Malt Whisky Co.)
Richly smoky single malt from the Loch Lomond Distillery, independently bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. for The Cooper's Choice range. It was distilled back in 2005, and allowed to age in a bourbon cask for 15 years, before being bottled up in 2021 under the name Inchfad (one of the many names that the many styles of whisky from Loch Lomond is released under). Only 306 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Oaky smoke and oily malt, with a helping of apricot jam for balancing sweetness.
Palate
Hot apple cider, charred oak, allspice, cereal, coffee.
Finish
Cinnamon, gingerbread, bonfire smoke.
