This is the 12 year old single malt Scotch whisky from Glengarry range, made at the Loch Lomond distillery in the Highlands (known for producing a variety of styles of whisky). This expression is made with whisky drawn from three types of cask - bourbon, refill and re-charred.
Light and elegant, with notes of fresh orange, vanilla cream and a core of floral malt.

So unique, so rich, so complex, so smooth at the same time.
Beautiful and bold nose. Intensity that belies its age. A great 12 year old.
One of the best 12 yo single malt.
I picked this up with out researching it, paid $45 in NC. As a big fan of highland single malts, I took a chance. This is nice. Good value for the money. Balanced like Talisker 10 (but not as smokey or flavorful as Talisker), reminds me a bit of johnnie walker green. Some slightly honeyed malt, vanilla, light peach and pear with a whiff of smoke. Not complex, but a good sipper and solid foundation for a Godfather cocktail , my favorite whiskey based cocktail. Best neat in a glencairn , but can stand up to a single ice ball or large cube in a rocks glass. Give the bottle some time to open up, don't judge on neck pour alone.
Having tried The Macallan and other single malts, I was quite pleased with Glengarry 12YO Malt. It has a pleasant nose and is a great sipping whisky. For the price, this is the best 12 YO Malt on the market and now my go to for a Malt. Just wish I could find it in more locations!
