Croftengea 8 Year Old 2010 - Strictly Limited (Càrn Mòr)
This single malt Scotch whisky was bottled in 2018 for the Strictly Limited range from Càrn Mòr after it spent 8 years in two hogshead casks. It was distilled at the wonderful Loch Lomond Distillery in 2010 and was bottled under the Croftengea name with no added colouring or chill filtration. From the two casks, a neat total of 800 bottles worth of deliciousness was extracted.

Nose
Earthy peat, pine needles and plenty of fresh malt lead among toffee and exotic fruit.
Palate
Black pepper fizzes through tannic oak, acacia honey and burnt pears.
Finish
Dry wood smoke lingers.
