13-year-old Croftengea single malt Scotch whisky distilled at Loch Lomond distillery in 2005 when Hunter Laing bottled it up for their Old Malt Cask range. It was drawn from a single refill hogshead and bottled with no chill-filtration or additional colouring.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

Apple blossom and toasted almond smokiness lead with plenty of rich vanilla and floral malt in support.

    Palate

Peat and caramel dominate with crackles of black pepper throughout.

    Finish

A touch of sugary fudge lingers alongside dry earth bitterness.
