Croftengea 10 Year Old 2009 - Claxton's
A single cask Croftengea here, distilled at Loch Lomond in May 2009. The smoky single malt rested in a single hogshead cask for a decade, until it was bottled at 10 years old by Claxton's. A limited 341 bottles were released at a hearty 52.7% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Grassy smoke, charred herbs and white pepper, with a hint of orchard fruit.
Palate
Oily malt, smoky tea notes and wood smoke, with toasted nuts.
Finish
Dried apple, buttery oak and barrel char.
