Wouldn't we all like to spend our days in a summer orchard, picking fruit off the tree and eating it while basking in the sun? While many of us won't get to do that because things like 'responsibilities', we can enjoy this Linkwood single cask Scotch whisky, distilled in 2000 and bottled by Wemyss in 2013 instead. 762 bottles were produced.
Apples and peaches, both fresh off the branch.
More fruits, but warmer, left to ripen a little. Slightly floral.
Not too long, short and sweet.
One day we will get to spend long summer days in an orchard. Until then, this will do just nicely.
