Single cask single malt from the Linkwood Distillery, released with a name hinting at its flavour profile - Summer Garlands! The whisky itself was distilled in 1997, matured in a hogshead and bottled in 2018 by Wemyss Malts, with a small outturn of only 262 bottles.
Honeydew melon, white pepper, grassy herbs and crusty bread.
Sponge cake with buttercream frosting, white peach, apple turnovers and ginger.
Subtly gentian bitterness balanced by toffee and apple.
