Rasberry Lemon Parfait 1995 (bottled 2018) - Wemyss Malts (Linkwood)
A mouthwatering Linkwood single malt, independently bottled by Wemyss Malts. This one was distilled in 1995 and left to age in a single hogshead until 2018, when it was bottled at cask strength with an outturn of just 217 bottles. The name it has been bestowed by Wemyss gives us a hint to its flavour profile. As astutely claimed in a hit 2001 animated movie - "Everybody likes parfait!"
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Soft vanilla and red fruit influence, joined by hints of cedar and apple slices.
Palate
Grassy at first, though soon enough you're greeted by jammy strawberry and banana chips.
Finish
Lemon peel, menthol and ground nutmeg.
