A fabulous addition to the Strictly Limited range from independent bottler Càrn Mòr – this single malt was distilled at Linkwood in 2011 and left to rest for nine years in bourbon barrels until bottling in 2021. A total of 1,392 bottles were released.
Toasted oak, mango, and pineapple, vanilla cream, straw.
Roasted nuts, chewy toffee, wafts of banana followed by liquorice and spicy oak.
Sugared fruit salad, vanilla biscuits, a touch of zest, and vibrant spice.

Tremendous dram. Massive hit of Pineapple chunks on the nose then a really sweet/fruity/creamy palate backed up by restrained oak. I've had a lot of sherry cask whisky recently and this was a really pleasant change of gears. Worth the price tag.
