An interesting single malt here from Linkwood, bottled up by Càrn Mòr. It was distilled in 2011 and allowed to age in first-fill bourbon and rye barrels until 2020, when it was bottled at 8 years of age. 953 bottles were produced, drawn from three casks, and released as part of the Strictly Limited range.
Fried dough, brown butter, dried peels and cinnamon sticks.
Anise, peppercorn, chocolate cake and cookies, some fruity brightness in the background.
Cedar, mint and lemon.
