
A Càrn Mòr bottling of 6 year old Linkwood, drawn from a pair of ex-bourbon barrels filled in 2011 and cracked open in 2018. It was bottled without any additional chill-filtration or colouring at 46% ABV with an outturn of 660 bottles.
A sweet and supple blend of tropical fruit is complemented by cinnamon and earthy herbs.
Golden barley, honey and sweet cereals form the core. Sharp marmalade, brown sugar and peppery malt develop.
A hint of oak-y smoke remains among some continued brown sugar sweetness.
