That Boutique-y Whisky Company have independently bottled another fantastic Linkwood single malt, and this time, it's got an age statement! This is a delicious 26 year old whisky from the distillery in the Speyside region. The label features shows a chap fixing Trigger's broom - Trigger has been using that very broom for 20 years. It's had 17 new heads and 14 new handles, but it's still the same broom, right?

Weetabix with chocolate chips and dotted with blueberries. Ground coffee beans, developing into hay and violet petals.
Enjoyably oily. Plum and apricot, joined by a hint of treacle tart. A big wave of sweet spices (spiced rum-style) follow up the fruit notes.
Dry oak spice, with a bit of dry grass too.
massively complex, waves and waves of various types of breakfast cereal (thanks for the mind-worm, MoM), but with loads of stewed fruit and christmas spice, too.
