    Linkwood 26 Year Old 1990 (cask 5046) - Dimensions (Duncan Taylor)

    A Duncan Taylor bottling of 26 year old Linkwood single malt, drawn from cask #5046. This was distilled in October 1990 and allowed to age for just over quarter of a century before being bottled in February 2017 as part of the Dimensions range. 136 bottles were produced.

    Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

    Nose

    Liquorice root, orange liqueur (Grand Marnier?) and a touch of burnt marshmallow.

    Palate

    Robustly malty joined by a pinch of black pepper at its core, layered with orange peels and farmhouse butter.

    Finish

    Golden syrup, soft grist-y hints and toasted rye bread.
