A Dun Bheagan bottling of 25-year-old Linkwood single malt, aged in a pair of hogshead from November 1992 to 2018. After a quarter of a century slumbering, this whisky has developed a bounty of fruit, spice and oak flavours. Just 530 bottles were produced.
Melon and apricot, with a touch of toffee in the background. Quite grassy.
Double cream dusted with brown sugar, flapjacks, a hint of roasted coffee bitterness.
Clove, pine resin, green apple and a touch of zesty tropical fruit - mango and coconut, perhaps...
