A marvellous 1986 vintage Linkwood single cask, aged for 25 years before bottling by Duncan Taylor, after a finish in a small Octave-sized cask for increased maturation.
Straw and barley sugar, vanilla, spices, pear liqueur and gooseberries.
A malty, spiced, fruit-driven palate, with notes of kiwi fruit, baked pear with honey and cinnamon.
Long, lemony finish.
very nice taste for this bottle, tried this at event and will buy bottle for sure if I can find one.
