This is a Carn Mor bottling of Linkwood, distilled in 1988 and aged in a single hogshead for 24 years before bottling in August 2012. It's a release of 243 numbered bottles, at natural cask strength.
Dried figs and toffee apples on the nose. Hints of black pepper, toasted oak creamy malt.
Gristy, malty palate entry. Notes of orange blossom honey, cappuccino coffee and allspice.
Vanilla develops, with sweet lattes and barley.
