A deliciously honeyed single malt from the Linkwood Distillery, independently bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd for its Small Batch series (and boasting a snazzily redesigned bottled launched in mid-2021). The whisky was distilled back in 2009 and aged in hogsheads until 2021, when it was bottled up at 46% ABV, producing 888 bottles.
Fried banana, a hint of milky tea, Custard Cream biscuits.
Fresh peach and pear, with a slow build of toast cedar and honeycomb.
Lasting oaky vanilla, a hint of singed hay, and nutmeg.
