An impressive bottle of Linkwood, distilled in 2008 and then aged in a sherry hogshead until 2018, when it was bottled by Malts of Scotland at 53.8% ABV. A limited run of just 282 bottles of this sherried Speysider were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Dried apricot, orange marmalade, cookie dough and oodles of dried berries.
Palate
Oak spice, chocolate covered nuts, sweet malt, freshly baked bread and lemon meringue pie.
Finish
Treacle tart with a dash of citrus.
