Joining the independent Pintail collection, a fabulous offering from Speyside's Linkwood distillery. Distilled in 2008, the whisky spent its final year finishing in a manzanilla sherry barrique before being bottled up at 14 years old. A release of 308 bottles.
Buttered brioche and apple chips, toasted marzipan, and oily oak.
Nutty malt brings notes of salted, honeyed almonds with drizzles of dark chocolate.
Candied ginger, creamy oak, pastry, and spiced nuts, plus sticky, honey-soaked prunes.
