Linkwood 12 Year Old 2008 - Strictly Limited (Càrn Mòr)
A 12 year old single malt from the Linkwood Distillery, matured in Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads from 2008 to 2021. Following that, this whisky was independently bottled by the cracking Càrn Mòr team as part of the Strictly Limited range, with 875 bottles produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Oily barley balanced by chocolate peanuts and strawberry jam.
Palate
Richly chocolatey, with a pinch of coffee in there too. Grassy malt and honeydew melon balance the heavy notes.
Finish
Honeyed and subtly spicy with ginger.
