Wine Cask

From the Chapter 7 Monologue series comes a rather intriguing Linkwood single malt, which was drawn from a single Port quarter cask. Quarter casks are smaller than your average cask, meaning more interaction between the wood and the whisky, and Port casks can often have quite a strong affect on a whisky's profile, so expect plenty of flavour from this one. It was distilled in 2008, and bottled in 2021 at 12 years of age, with just 120 bottles produced.
Lemon parfait, blackcurrant jam, cinnamon, a hint of grassy freshness shines through.
Still citrusy, though now more on the orange boiled sweets side of things. Vanilla-rich malt and a little white chocolate hint.
Fizzy strawberry laces and white pepper.
