A 12 year old Linkwood single malt, independently bottled for The Single Malts of Scotland range. This particular parcel was drawn from four casks, and after a dozen years of maturation, the whisky was bottled up a 48% as part of the Reserve Casks range.
Straw, honeycomb, a hint of sherried peels giving it a fruity edge.
Walnuts and toasted almonds, chewy caramels, red pepper flake and sugary shortbread.
Lingering buttery richness.
