Single cask Linkwood single malt, independently bottled up by House of Macduff for its very own Golden Cask series. This one was aged in a bourbon cask for a dozen years, from 2007 to 2020, and eventually bottled at cask strength with an outturn of 276 bottles.
Pine, persimmon, cut grass, oatcakes and marmalade.
More vanilla-forward on the palate, but still refreshing with grassy hints.
A prickle of cinnamon and ginger grows on the finish.
