This 12 year old single malt from the Linkwood distillery was matured in a bourbon hogshead for 12 years, from 2006 to 2018. The Speysider was then bottled by Hannah Whisky Merchants for the Lady of the Glen series. Only 151 bottles of this were released.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Vanilla pod, a pinch of tobacco and fresh soft fruit with a hint of almond.
Palate
Viscous, with floral heather honey, sponge cake and vanilla custard sweetness alongside malty and spicy notes.
Finish
Lengthy, with a touch of quince.
