Linkwood 11 Year Old 2014 Single Cask (Master of Malt)
Distilled at Linkwood in 2014, this single malt was filled into a single Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead, where it slumbered for the next 11 years. We opened up the cask in 2026, releasing 339 bottles for our exclusive Master of Malt collection, laden with notes of apple, raisin, and spice.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Apple and syrup granola bars, sweet, biscuity malt, creamy vanilla, and a hint of wild strawberry, with browned butter, toffee, chocolate buttons, toasted oak, and sweet spice.
Palate
Robust with a medley of caramel sweetness, creamy malt, and oaken spice. Raisins and milk chocolate join sultana-studded fudge, marzipan, and sweet, warming baking spice.
Finish
Baked green apple lingers, with buttery pastry and custard to balance a crunch of cracked black pepper.
