A chocolatey indie Linkwood here, distilled back in 2008. The single malt rested in a single first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead for just over a decade, until Adelphi bottled it up at 54.7% ABV, in a release of 309 bottles.
It's all chocolate here, with milk chocolate praline, fruit and nut chocolate and nougat, along with cherry jam.
Toast and chocolate spread, with chewy raisin and an oily, herbaceous undertone.
Melted brown sugar and chocolate-covered honeycomb.
