Linkwood 11 Year Old 2006 (58.7%) - Single Cask (Master of Malt)
Single malt from the Linkwood distillery, matured in a single bourbon cask, then bottled for our very own Single Cask Series! This one was aged for 11 years, from July 2006 to March 2018, when we bottled it without chill-filtration or additional colours, and at cask strength.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Hay, fresh linen, a hint of funky apricot and almond paste.
Palate
Almond yet again, now paired with cherry (somewhat amaretto-esque). Slightly bread-y at points.
Finish
Continued buttered bread with just a hint of brown sugar sweetness.
