Linkwood 10 Year Old 2012 (cask 301855, 313669 - 313671) - Small Batch (James Eadie)
Distilled in 2012, bottled in 2023, this single malt from Linkwood spent its 10 year maturation resting in a trio of re-charred hogshead casks. The casks were opened by James Eadie, independently releasing a total of 1,291 bottles for its Small Batch series, with a rather charming nighttime fox scene illustrated on the label.

Nose
Fruity flapjack, gingerbread, toffee apple, and baking spice warmth.
Palate
Dried fruits, candied nuts and citrus, creamy caramel, and spiced honey.
Finish
Toasty oak and cakey spice wrap things up, with barley sugar sweeties and apple pastries.
