A lovely bottle of 2011 vintage Linkwood here that was matured in a single refill sherry hogshead for 10 years before it was bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Company at 52.5% ABV for The Cooper's Choice series.
Spicy notes of pecan pie, maple syrup, and sherried malt with coffee beans and orange peel in support.
Winter spices and honey are joined by vanilla, stem ginger, and dried fruit.
Good length with toffee apples and nutmge.
