A wonderful Islay single malt bottled by Elements of Islay. Since it's the 10th Lp expression, we're sure you know by know which distillery that stands for. Lp10 has been matured in a pair of bourbon barrels before being bottled at cask strength, weighing in at 53.9% ABV.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Fresh and slightly sweet, with gentle wafts of bonfire smoke, heather honey and freshly cut grass.
Palate
Sea spray mingles with smoky barbecued tropical fruit, as well as salty smoked meat and a sprinkle of caramelised brown sugar and vanilla shortbread.
Finish
Salted caramel and dark mint chocolate with a pinch of dried herbs.
