This right here is a 15 year old single malt distilled by Laphroaig on Islay and bottled for The Stories of Wind & Wave series by The Character of Islay Whisky Company! The range shows off the deliciousness you'll find on the Inner Hebridean, this is a great example. It was matured in a single refill bourbon barrel for 15 years, and bottled up in some particularly handsome bottles, we will say.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Waxy peels, peppermint leaf and smoky black tea with a touch of baked earth to it.

Palate Sweet smoke with savoury hints of salted butter and cedar underneath, plus stone fruit developing later on.

Finish Polished oak, a touch of ash and continuing fruity elements.
