Swiss single malt is a marvellous thing, and That Boutique-y Whisky Company has got its hands on another terrific parcel of said marvelousness from the Langatun distillery! It's a 5 year old expression, and features a label that cartographers will enjoy. But what is it tracking? A mystery those aforementioned cartographers will have to unravel...
Batch 4 is a release of 448 bottles.
‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.
Nose: Highly floral, with fresh hay and a sweet grassy note, a hint of burnt rubber, old leather and tropical fruit.
Palate: A delicately oily mouthfeel, with barley sugar, milk chocolate, fresh pineapple and oily malt.
Finish: A prickle of spice and new oak with a short, clean and drying finish with a hint of dried mango lingering.
