Langatun Old Bear Smoky
It's Langatun's Old Bear Smoky Swiss single malt, bottled at a bumped-up ABV of 46%! This intriguing whisky is made with peated barley and allowed to age in Châteauneuf-du-Pape casks, resulting in a finely-tuned balance of sweet and peat.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Savoury, salty peat smoke, elderflower, waxy orange and mint.
Palate
Malty notes develop on the palate, with a touch of raspberry and waves of toasted cedar.
Finish
Quite long, with peppery smoke and melon.
