Wine Cask
The Langatun distillery in Switzerland distilled this single malt in 2010 and let it mature in a chardonnay wine cask before giving it a 15 month finishing period in Sauternes casks - very interesting indeed!
Soft barley sugar and butterscotch notes, with obvious fruity influence from the wine casks.
Brown sugar, nectarine and spearmint. Another wave of butterscotch sweetness.
Fried banana and honeydew melon.
