Langatun 6 Year Old 2010 - Jacob's Dram
A Swiss single malt from the Langatun distillery, named for its founder, Jakob Baumberger. This expression was matured in casks that previously held Pinot Noir, resulting in a ruby hue and fruity flavour profile. Cheers, Jakob!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Sugary shortcrust pastry, dried fruit, ginger and cherries.
Palate
Malty as it opens, though soon enough waves of raspberry, sloe and raisin notes appear in abundance.
Finish
Vanilla pod and chocolate buttons.
