Langatun 6 Year Old 2010 (bottled 2017) - Jacob's Dram
A 2017 bottling of Langatun's single malt Swiss whisky named after the distillery's founder, Jakob Baumberger (he was also owner of a very fine moustache, which you can see on the label). This expression was distilled in 2010 and aged for 6 years in casks that were previously home to Pinor Noir wine!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Brandied cherries, cookie dough and a touch of rum-raisin ice cream.
Palate
Amaretti biscuits, butter sultanas, clove and ginger.
Finish
Slightly hot on the finish with yet more ginger and a kick of black pepper.
